What Are School Health Services?

The Bermudian Springs School District recognizes that good health is the foundation to a good education and healthy living. Achieving and maintaining optimal health helps to give the school age child the best chance of being successful in school and to grow to become a healthy, productive adult. To accomplish this goal, the district provides the mandated school health services outlined by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Health counseling
• Health consultation
• Early identification and referral of health concerns
• Case management and follow-up
• First aid and emergency care
