Director of Athletics

Mr. Jon DeFoe

Jon DeFoe is the athletic director of Bermudian Springs School District. Prior to being athletic director, he was the high school principal from 2016-2023 and assistant principal from 2011-2015. He has over 25 years of educational and administrative experiences all in the Bermudian Springs School District.  During his tenure, Jon has taught computer applications in the middle school and business education courses in the high school. He also served as the head football coach from 1999-2019.
 
 
Jon earned his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Supervisor of Instruction and Curriculum from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland.  He completed his Bachelor's Degree in Business Education from Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.  Jon also has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Economics Management from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.   

When not at school, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife Stephanie, son Grant, and daughter Sydney. Jon enjoys playing golf and is a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions.
