Hello! 

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you.  My name is William Smith and I am your child's second grade teacher this year.  My home is in Dillsburg where I have grown up from early childhood.  I attended Northern High School and graduated in 1977.  In the Fall, I entered Messiah College where I graduated in 1981 with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education.  Upon graduation from Messiah College, I substituted in local school districts for 6 years.  In the Fall of 1987, I began as a long-term substitute teacher in the Bermudian Springs School District.  In the Spring of 1988, I was given a contract with the district.  I am very excited about this year in second grade.  I hope it will be a fulfilling year for your child as a student, you as a parent, and me as a teacher, as we all work together during the coming year.
