    This course is designed for students who are either entering the workforce, military, or a two-year technical school upon graduating from high school. Students are taught practical English skills necessary for entry into a business-related occupation. There is heavy emphasis on expanding your business vocabulary, grammar principles, punctuation rules, and proofreading skills. Students will plan, compose, and key routine business documents such as letters, memos, and itineraries. Special emphasis is given to employment communications-applications, resumes, letters associated with applying for a job and resigning from a job, and the interviewing process. Keyboarding skill is required for this class. This course fulfills one English credit requirement for graduation and approval for taking this course must be given by eleventh grade English teacher.
