    Material Design and Processing

     

    Prerequisite for: Advanced Woodworking, Construction Technology, Advanced Construction Technology, CADD II, ARCH, and Product Innovation and Design

     

    Grades 9, 10, 11, 12

    Prerequisite- None

    Full Year         1 Credit           ( Level 1 )

     

                This year long elective course is available to students in grades 9-12 who have an interest in several different areas of technology. This course will provide students with an introduction to woodworking, construction technology, and drafting and design. Students will learn the basic skills needed in these different areas along with learning about new technological advances in these areas. They will also have the opportunity to work on hands on projects dealing with each of these topics. After successful completion of this introductory level class students will be able to take any of the upper level technology education courses.
