Hello!  My name is Mrs. Durbin and I am the 7th/8th grade Reading Specialist at Bermudian.  Being the oldest of five, I always had a 'motherly' way about me.  I knew that I wanted to become a teacher.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Edinboro University in 1994.  I taught for 5 years with the Lincoln Intermediate Unit.  During that time, I earned my Masters of Reading at Western Maryland College.  My husband and I moved into the district in 2000.   In 2002, I resigned as a teacher to be a stay-at-home mother and raise our two children.  In 2009, I returned to teaching as a long-term substitute reading specialist at a neighboring district. On March 1, 2010, I became the 7th/8th grade Reading Specialist at Bermudian Springs Middle School.
